Look for a Predictable Rhythm
Young children thrive on routine. Ask to see the daily schedule. It should feel structured but not rigid — time for play, learning, outdoor exploration, meals, and rest. If the director can walk you through a typical day and it sounds intentional, that’s a good sign.
Trust Your Gut
Does the space feel warm? Do the children seem happy? Would you feel comfortable leaving your child here for eight hours? Sometimes the most important data point is the simplest one: how does this place feel?
